My Stance on Social Issues

Abortion- Pro Choice/ Father should have say

Affirmative Action- This is slightly a racist movement, racist in a patronizing way not a hateful one, but if it helps people and hurts little, why not.

Ageism- Judging people by their age is perfectly fine, seeing as we will all be young and hopefully will be old in the future so those who judge will also be judged and they know this.

AIDS- I didn't know this was a social issue but I'm against it I guess....

Animal Testing- If we test animals to further man in areas such as life saving medicine and such I think it's OK, I mean it is just like every other part of the survival game.

Evolution vs Intelligent Design - Not really a social issue as it is not an opinion. It is that one belief is right, the other is not. Currently the only believable one from a scientific point of view is Evolution so I bank on that, yet I wasn't there so I could be wrong.

The article is just a preview for an up and coming movie about a deaf kid who could gain the ability to hear things if his asshole mom (who was also deaf) would let him. Her problem is that she doesn't want her son to hear because she would somehow be disgracing the "deaf community".
My opinion on the whole "deaf community" is basically.... fuck em.... What the hell is a deaf community anyway? More importantly who the hell would that kid offend by hearing anyway? Is there some deaf dude who is such a douche-bag that he wants everyone be miserable like him?
Fuck the mother if she would have her feelings hurt if her son wasn't deaf.


And lastly FUCK the deaf community for making this a controversial issue. This movie should have a no brainer plot, basically the kid is deaf so the mom lets him have the gift of motherfucking SOUND!

Today in English class we got into a discussion of the quote in the book "Animal Farm" that goes as saying "Some are more equal than others." The teacher says that this is true in our world as well. I do not believe this.


While it is true that some people have more power and influence, they are still the same as everyone else when it comes to being human. Wealth and power are just tools created by man to "create" better people. Since these things are not actually part of us, we can deduce that if we were to remove these from a wealthy and powerful person that they would still be the same when it comes to being a human.
To give an example of when power was taken away from someone and that person was still the same human being as before. At the end of the age of slavery, white people lost their power to control their slaves, but were not changed in their "humaness". Not only did these white people lose their power but they lost a lot of wealth in the process and they still were the same humans.
All I'm saying is that equality is just a fact when applied to the humanity of humans. Morality, wealth, power, etc. are all different entities and should be treated as such. Just like I am not my money, my money is not what makes me equal.

The recent backlash at Obama's "bitter" comment just prove that he is right. The American People are bitter because of the slump in the economy. Americans are bitter to the fat-cats in the oil companies for price gouging, and Americans are bitter towards the incompetency in the real estate business for getting their houses repossessed. Being bitter is the appropriate response to our circumstances, but bashing the guy who bares the message is just... well... bitter.

While I am particularly bad at the art of joke telling if I'm not overly loud, I still try at every chance I get. Most of the times I do say a joke everyone who laughs, didn't want to laugh. They don't disdain laughing, but I often make some jokes about some rather serious topics. I make jokes about things that people would call taboo.
In fact I've been called, insensitive, racist,rude,inappropriate, mean, hurtful, etc. But when I tell these jokes, I'm just doing what I know to make light of a shitty situation. I would expect you to do the same for me when I get in a shit situation. If I get AID's, call me a fag and make fun of me like there is no tomorrow.If I get cancer, say a joke about it.
Situations get much better when you can laugh at them.

Things Look Bleak

It has become rather apparent that the world will be coming to an end soon, at least that's how it seems. I don't know when the world started getting hot or when the black hole in the center of the galaxy showed up but I don't like it at all. No I can't say that I dig those nukes or missiles that people continue to make. Most of all, I definitely do not enjoy the powerful people keeping us down.What do I enjoy? I can't really say. I mean just think about those super-viruses and new forms of cancer and tell me you see a light at the end of the tunnel. Yep... might as well give up.Or we could try to fix this. Either way were doomed.
Now lets get serious for a minute or two. The truth is Man won't always be around. From the looks of it, we don't have very long to wait. Such is the nature of species to die, and die we shall. Species are like individuals, both can prolong death so long as death has no reason of showing up. Sitting around won't help anything, and neither will planning everything out . Never before has a society, let alone a planet, gotten together and tried to solve problems that weren't immediately dire to said society. Man is great at living on the edge, making it's move as it goes along blind of whats in from of it. It may sound reckless for me to say we shouldn't plan our future in advance, but I'm being cautious in assuming that we would ignore all of the problems we would face waiting for everyone to get together and solve them. What we should do is solve our problems as they come as best as we can. Only then are we going to avoid the big things in the future.

I saw a video earlier in the day that showed a fight between two members of different gangs fighting each other. Of course asshole #1 called asshole #2 some names and this man felt so sad about it he wanted to fight the other dumb ass. Of course the big guy kicked the little guys ass to the cement, and the guy walked off like he was a big man for pushing that small guy around.

I thought this was probably the most ridiculous temper tantrum on the planet. Asshole #2 needs to realize he is an adult probably living in a slum town. This idiot is going to set aside all the things he should be doing, in order to fight some dumb ass for calling him a name. I don't think this guy has much a reputation to protect, seeing as he almost killed another human being over an insult. For Christ's sakes, IM a bigger man than these guys.
